Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QuoteBolt (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at hello@quotebolt.app of any unauthorized use of your account. QuoteBolt cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep your account information up to date. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation
• Transmit or facilitate transmission of any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material
• Impersonate or attempt to impersonate QuoteBolt, a QuoteBolt employee, or any other person or entity
• Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion or feature of the Service

4. Payment Terms

Subscription fees for paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. QuoteBolt reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

Payment processing for QuoteBolt subscription fees is handled by Stripe. Payment processing for invoices you send to your customers through the Service is also handled by Stripe. QuoteBolt is the software platform — Stripe is the payment processor. You are responsible for complying with Stripe's terms of service when using payment features.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of QuoteBolt and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or exploit any content from the Service without our prior written permission.

You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service, including quotes, invoices, and customer data. By using the Service, you grant QuoteBolt a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, QuoteBolt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

In no event shall QuoteBolt's total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to your use of the Service exceed the amount you paid to QuoteBolt during the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days following termination, after which it may be deleted.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting an updated version with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
